Do you or someone in your life struggle with hearing loss? Hearing can be restored with a cochlear implant. Come to the Hearing Health Fair. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet real cochlear implant users and hear their stories and learn about hearing health and hearing solutions from audiologists, doctors and leading hearing specialists. Find out why hearing loss occurs and why hearing aids may no longer be enough for some. Learn about available treatment options through information sessions and live demonstrations of the latest hearing technologies. Meet others who were once deaf or hard of hearing, but have since had their hearing restored with the help of a cochlear implant. Refreshments will be served.

Join us for a special tour of A Year with Children 2010, an annual exhibition that showcases artwork created by students participating in the museum's Learn Through Art program. Created in response to the elimination of art programs, Learning Through Art places professional teaching artists into New York City public schools to teach students how to make and think about art. Separate programs for partially sighted, blind, and deaf visitors through Verbal Imaging, touch, and ASL*.
Free, space is limited for both programs, advance RSVP required by Monday, June 7.

THE LATINO INTERNATIONAL THEATER FESTIVAL OF NY
ANIMALS OF BRAZIL
The Latino International Theater Festival of NY, Inc. is proud to partner with TDF/TAP to bring you two family-friendly movement-based productions from Brazil and Argentina, with no spoken word and/or with the use of Open Captions.
A puppetry production for the whole family... all the way from Sao Paulo, Brazil! Come on a family safari and enjoy this Brazilian carnival of exotic birds, dancing monkeys, funny armadillos and proud pumas. Brazil's jungle comes to life in this magical production with inflatable and hand-made puppets and choreography.
