Journal of Rehabilitation Research & Development (JRRD) Sepcial Issue on Cochlear Implants

The Department of Veterans Affairs’ Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Development (JRRD) today released Volume 45, Issue 5, a special issue on cochlear prostheses for adults with hearing impairments.  Hearing loss is among the most common disabilities affecting veterans, making this issue particularly relevant for OEF/OIF veterans.  This issue was guest edited by Dr. Harry Levitt, National Center for Rehabilitative Auditory Research, Portland, Oregon.
