Deafness Research Foundation to Benefit from BTIG's 8th Commissions for Charity Day on May 6, 2010

BTIG LLC, an institutional broker dealer specializing in trading and related brokerage services, announced that it will donate its equity, fixed income and derivative trading commission profits earned on Thursday, May 6 to a designated group of children's charities.

This year, Deafness Research Foundation is thrilled to be participating in BTIG's 8th Commissions for Charity Day on May 6. The success of the day is 100% driven by how much business institutional accounts choose to do with BTIG on that day.

The firm's last Commissions for Charity Day raised more than $3 million, and over the past five years BTIG has donated more than $10 million to various organizations across the country, including A Little Hope, Jacob's Cure, The Eli Manning Foundation, Catch 25, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Deafness Research Foundation.

Please support Deafness Research Foundation to continue our work helping those living with hearing loss and protecting those at risk by directing your trades to BTIG on May 6.
